These original sculptures I offer you to purchase are made out of a pewter bar that I have melted, rolled, polished, hammered, cut, trimmed and folded with the sheer force of my two hands following a technique of my own.

The wooden supports of these sculptures were cut in swamped woods accessible only in winter, when the river is frozen. I cut and transported the tree burls with a sled up to my studio to be dried, treated and carved. The burls where carved using a gouge and I aimed at preserving their original form, with a concern for their aesthetics and for enhancing the hot and cold, wood and metal combination. While a clear varnish is used for protective purposes, the color of these wooden supports is completely natural.
